Develop and validate numerical models, software tools, and guidance documents to assess efficient, environmentally sound, and cost-effective methods for dredging, handling, transport, and placement of material. Develop methods to address regulatory and habitat issues concerning dredging processes and dredged material. Develop methods to assess beneficial use and regional sediment management options for dredged material.
