The system has been designed using the latest and most efficient programming tools and languages (i.e. Borland Delphi and RoboHelp). Basic structure of the system is based on information systems developed previously, including the Noxious and Nuisance Plant Management Information System (PMIS), the Zebra Mussel Information System (ZMIS), and the Aquatic Plant Information System (APIS). The operation of EMRIS will be updated and refined to reflect information access needs and advances in the ecosystem management and restoration area. Each piece of information included in the system has been evaluated for scientific and technical merit within each individual subject area.
