The official training program of the Corps of Engineers is the Proponent-Sponsored Engineer Corps Training (PROSPECT) series. The Professional Development Support Center http://www.hnd.usace.army.mil/to/pindex.htm in Huntsville, AL, manages the program. A large variety of classes are taught within the series. A partial list and description of natural resources classes available is maintained on the ERDC Natural Resources Research and Development Center home page: http://el.erdc.usace.army.mil/nrrdc/train.html. That page also includes a listing of classes that can be arranged outside of the PROSPECT series, e.g., as workshops at a Corps office.
