RISK = f (EXPOSURE + EFFECTS)
EXPOSURE = The fate and spatial/temporal distributions
of soil/sediment/water associated contaminants relative to the receptor
of concern
fate = The movement and transformation of a contaminant
from a point in the environment through the ecosystem
EFFECTS = The impacts of a contaminant on biota (e.g. reduce
survival, toxicity, etc.)
