Timing of Application

Application is timed according to the following treatments:

1. Periodic: usually applied twice per year.

2. Eradication: apply one to three times per year during warm season: immediately after the annual peak in reproduction (typically in June or July), and at the end of the season (October or November) (Nalco Chemical Company 1996).

3. Preventive: treat throughout warm weather season. Can be added whenever chlorination is applied.
